served as Special Assistant to the
Office of the Governor (Jay S.
Hammond), State of Alaska, during
settlement of the Alaska Lands issue.
He managed the State of
Alaska satellite transponders and
engineered audio, TV and data
communications to Alaska bush
communities. He served as microwave
and satellite engineer with RCA
Alascom during the construction of the
Trans Alaska Oil Pipeline. Larry is a
federally licensed Satellite
Communications Engineer with
tropospheric scatter (White Alice) and
modified microwave frequency
endorsements.

Martha
A Patterson (Marti), Secretary -Treasurer,
Chaplin Resource Group
"Marti"
is
a practiced lay Gemologist as well as
Minerologist. She is a "Rockhound"
extrordinaire and doesn't miss much. Most at
home "in the field". She see's her primary
responsibility as one of "directing the
Director"! Marti has also been active on
mining operations at several locations in
Alaska .. from Cape Yakataga to the
Talkeetna Mountains. She has also been
mining in Arizona and Nevada. Her skills
include fine particle identification and
recovery. Marti also keeps the books for us
and tries to maintain our balance.

Penny S
Pearson, Executive Vice President,
Chaplin Resource Group
Ms. Pearson is the CRG Projects
Coordinator. She is a former staff assistant
within the Governor’s Office in Alaska, as
well as the Communication Manager for the
Alaska Senate. She holds a Master’s Degree in
communication and has served as a technology
coordinator for a California school district;
a lecturer with California State University,
Sacramento Regional and Continuing Education,
and lead teacher for a vocational technical
school. She is certified in several software
applications and will provide technical
support and training for CRG participants.

Alan
Stein, Operations Manager,
Stillwater Range , Chaplin
Resource Group
20 years as
owner/operator of placer mining claims in
Alaska and Nevada. Primary areas of
responsibility included mine site
operations, concentrate collection and
processing. Property acquisition,
location, staking, testing and development
have been
prime endeavors. Other areas of
responsibility included mine site safety
and oversight of equipment maintenance.
Trained in Mine safety operations (MSHA)
and is a Certificated Hydraulic
Engineer. Prior experience includes 13
years (Forensic Engineers, Inc.)
investigations related to fire and other
structural failures. Responsible for field
operations
as well as laboratory and mock-up failure
duplications.

of proven expertise in structural geology,
grade control, ore reserves, exploration,
mine development and production, feasibility
studies, land research and acquisition.
Chief Geologist for Major production
projects from Canada through South America
including Red
Lake, Rio
Tinto and Getty
Copper mines in Canada. Also
Consulting geologist for projects in
Chile, Mexico and Greece. Recognized
throughout the U.S. west and northwest as
expert in identification and location of
lode deposits bearing precious metals
including those of the Platinum group.
Expertise in Oxide, Sulfide, Porphyry Copper
and Molybdenum, Gold and Silver epithermal
and meso-thermal deposits. Currently
completing research involving Plate
Tectonics and the relationship to
primary/secondary mineral deposits on a
global scale. Member of ASME, American
Society of Metallurgical Engineers, American
institute of Geologists and the geological
association of Canada. Graduate of Kent
State University.

Gene Murphy,
Field Operations Director, Chaplin
Resource Group
Gene Murphy brings 30 years of
experience in all phases of mining,
earthmoving, rock and sand quarries, heavy
highway, underground and subdivisions projects
as a contractor, foreman and operating
engineer. He is the owner of Genesis
Mining
LLC and a shareholder of Golden Eagle
Mining of Utah. Gene has been involved with
building 3 major gold mines and has worked for
several other mining operations throughout the
Western United States. He is MSHA and OSHA
certified. Gene, better known as Geno from
Reno, has been a rockhound from a early age
and has been a member and involved with the
Reno Gem and Mineral Society which lead him to
becoming an award winning stone knife builder
and known around the world for his art work.

Garry is an entrepreneurial executive and
strategic initiatives leader in fast paced
start-up businesses and Fortune 500 companies
in diverse industries. Over the last decade
his achievements include developing and
commercializing innovative multi-disciplinary
approaches to mineral and precious metal
processing and extraction including:
Nanotechnology, Electro Systems, Extraction
Systems, Proprietary Ore Leach Technology and
Separation Technology. Garry holds both a B.A.
and MBA and has attended countless association
and mining industry education and compliancy
training over the last 23 years and maintains
his membership in the Northwestern Mining
Association and (previously) the International
Precious Metals Institute.

Jason Hirt, Consultant
Geologist, Chaplin Resource Group
Recently
active with the exploration, expansion and
development of mineral properties for Jipangu,
Inc. and based at
their Florida Canyon and Standard mines in
Nevada. Increased reserves of precious
metals at Jipangu operations have been due,
largely, to Jason's efforts. Jason is also
Oil and Gas experienced in Louisiana and the
Gulf of Mexico region. He cannot, of course,
share proprietary information with CRG but,
his overall knowledge base is welcomed and
CRG reciprocates with appropriate
information and practices that may be useful
to him and his efforts. Jason is currently
under contract to Gryphon
Gold Corporation and Round Mountain
Gold Corporation in Nevada.

Currently a Management partner with the sixth
largest grain milling plant in North America.
In this position he works
developing new products and processing
techniques, collaborates with sales and
quality to enhance customer satisfaction and
to improve yields and financial margins.
As Senior
Consulting Engineer at Magma Engineering
Group LLC David provided solutions
to complex and chronic
manufacturing issues for clients in grain
milling, gold mining, wood processing, and
energy. David's position is to offer
solutions to enhance the clients’ process
manufacturing and control systems to
reduce cost.
As a process
engineer David has worked throughout all of
western Europe, North Africa, Central and
South America, Working in, or visiting over
160 production plants in 23 countries.

engineer at the Institute Renewable Energy in
Denver, CO. Connie used his vast experience to
research and develops technologies for the use
of waste as a source of energy. Connie has

projects for residential, commercial and
industrial sites. He served as the Executive
Director of the Southern California Masonry
Institute. Connie has published the “Masonry
Design Manual", university level
structural design text.

China, negotiating in many business sectors,

renewable energy. He has started and
maintained his own custom fabricated granite
business with co-owned factory in China for
fabrication . General manager, Congo
Stars Mining, DRC 2005. Vice president MQuest
Capital (Water Shed Reclamation)
2006-2007. He has negotiated contracts
with mining companies from the USA , Congo,
Bolivia and Honduras marketing their ore to
China.

Eve Marie Hirt,
Consultant Geologist, Chaplin Resource
Group
Eve Marie has
recently completed her Master's Degree in
Geology (UNR Reno) and is currently
under contract with Barrick
Gold
Corporation. And she has recently
become the new President of the
Nevada Chapter of Women in Mining.
No shirker, Eve Marie swings a
4 pound hammer and can "muck" with the
best of them! She recently returned
from Australia where her mine team took
first place in competitions (40 competing
teams).
Eve
Marie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
early childhood education too ... suitable
for dealing with this bunch!

Scott Reeder,
Fabrication Engineer, Chaplin Resource
Group
Skilled field fabricator of mining
and related equipment/hardware. Designer,
manufacturer of commercial and small scale
magnetic separation systems. Scott has mining
experience in Nevada, California and Oregon.
He is also an equipment operator and has
implemented several applications to the
"leaching" of heavy metal ores at various
locations. Scott is currently completing
training to become "certified" in all special
alloy welding applications. He is a former
United States Navy weapons instructor with
"nuclear" focus.

Michael Genova,

Mike
is
the owner-operator of Nevada
Analytical Services (NAS), specializing
in
organic analysis of wastewater, hazardous
waste, soil, and petroleum product
samples. NAS is also equipped to test and
evaluate most of the elements of the
periodic table including the Rare Earth's
(Lanthanides and Actinides). NAS keeps
up-to-date by investing in the latest
analytical instrumentation which includes
Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectroscopy
(GC-MS), Gas Chromatograph (GC) Systems,
Inductively
Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission
Spectroscopy (ICP-AES), Flow Injection

Bill is an innovative chemist and
process engineer. He has a complete grasp of
nature's way of bonding mineral complexes
together and the techniques necessary to
release specific components. He is a very
introspective individual and has a way of
putting his mentality directly into the
schematic of problem "ores" presented. "Bill"
maintains a private lab and "fire" facility.
He also has many years of experience with
metal lixiviants. (interesting heat protection
suit .... there are larger furnaces behind
him)
